Excision of Thyroglossal Duct Cyst
The patient is admitted with a thyroglossal duct cyst and underwent surgical excision. At surgery, the anterior neck was incised and the thyroglossal duct cyst was encountered where it was dissected along with the middle of the hyoid bone. The cyst continued superiorly to the tongue where it was dissected from the foramen cecum of the tongue. What are the procedure codes for this surgery?
