AMA Comment There in no age limit mentioned in the narrative description of the new cardiac catheterization codes for congenital cardiac anomalies. While it is true that the vast majority of patients undergoing these procedures are children, an increasing cohort of young adults with congenital heart disease have survived into adolescence and young adulthood.
