2023 E/M Changes — Are You Sure You are Compliant?

2023 brought a lot of changes to Evaluation and Management and now that we are past the beginning of the year frenzy, it is a good time to take a look at how your practice is doing. Have you addressed all of the changes or are there changes that might still need to be made?

A great way to determine if everyone is onboard is to do a self-audit. You can do this yourself or hire a certified coder to do it for you. If you hire someone, be sure to have it done through an attorney so that any findings by the auditor are considered “privileged” information.
