FA24.3 Juvenile enthesitis related arthritis International Classification of Diseases for Mortality and Morbidity Statistics, 11th Revision, v2024-01 Enthesitis-related arthritis is a type of juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) that represents the paediatric form of spondyloarthropathy in adults, but differs from it as the initial manifestations in the paediatric form are asymmetric oligoarticular arthritis of the lower limbs, associated with enthesitis. Axial manifestations (sacroiliac involvement) are present in only 25% of cases at onset but appear several years later in the disease course.
coding note Use additional code to identify associated uveitis
postcoordination Add Stem and/or Extension codes to form a cluster code which adds detail to the condition.
