descriptionThe Reynolds Risk Score is designed to predict risk of having a future heart attack, stroke, or other major heart disease in the next 10 years. It is based on a healthy population wthat does not have diabetes.The score uses age, systolic blood pressure, total and HDL cholesterol levels, current smoking status, High Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hsCRP) and family history as a basis for calculation. It can be accessed online and is interactive. Numerical scores are correlated with risk percentages.
