name | Neutrophil cytoplasmic Ab panel - Serum by Immunofluorescence
description | This panel contains quantitative and ordinal results for the detection of anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCAs) levels in serum by immunofluorescence methods. ANCAs are a group of auto-antibodies directed against antigens in the cytoplasm of neutrophil granulocytes and monocytes. They are associated with a number of autoimmune disorders, including systemic vasculitis. This test may be performed to monitor therapy with mycophenolate mofetil (trade names: CellCept, Myfortic), an immunosuppressive agent used in organ transplantation.

time | Pt = Point in time: To identify measures at a point in time. This is a synonym for “spot” or “random” as applied to urine measurements.
system | Ser = Serum | ||
