name | Liver fibrosis score in Serum or Plasma by Calculated by ELF
description | This term was created for, but is not limited in use to, the Enhanced Liver Fibrosis Score (ELF), which is intended to diagnose liver disease in patients with mild to moderate liver fibrosis. The fibrosis score ranges are as follows: < 7.7 None to mild fibrosis, ≥ 7.7 to < 9.8 Moderate fibrosis, ≥ 9.8 Severe fibrosis. The Enhanced Liver Fibrosis Score is calculated based on three lab tests (hemagglutination assay (HA), N-Terminal Propeptide of Type III Collagen (PIIINP), and TIMP metallopeptidase inhibitor 1 (TIMP-1) assays).

scale | Qn = Quantitative: The result of the test is a numeric value that relates to a continuous numeric scale. Reported either as an integer, a ratio, a real number, or a range. The test result value may optionally contain a relational operator from the set {<=, <, >, >=}. Valid values for a quantitative test are of the form "7", "-7", "7.4", "-7.4", "7.8912", "0.125", "<10", "<10.15", ">12000", 1-10, 1:256
