When a case report document is not processed, this section may contain a statement that the receiver (i.e. public health system) was unable to process the file (e.g. due to issues with file corruption, encryption, or malformation) and that the submitter will need to resend the file. This term was created for, but not limited in use to, the Electronic Initial Case Report Section in the HL7 CDA® R2 Implementation Guide: Reportability Response, Release 1 - US Realm.
