nameOswestry disability index score ODI
descriptionThe Oswestry Disability Index Score is reported as a percent, based on the scores of the contributing questions. Each of the up to ten ODI questions is scored from zero to five (0-5) points, though some use a one to six( 1-6) point scale. The individual scores are summed, divided by the maximum possible score depending on the number of questions included in the specific version and then multiplied by 100%. This allows for comparison across ODI versions. Note that when a 1-6 scale is used, scores must be adjusted for cross comparison. [PMID: 11074683] Score interpretation is as follows: 0-4 = No disability; 5-14 = Mild disability; 15-24 = Moderate disability; 25-34 = Severe Disability; 35-50 = Completely disabled.
