Patient Satisfaction: Tracking Satisfaction Improvement with CG-CAHPS
This is an outcome measure: it measures actual improvement in patient satisfaction. It uses the same scoring approach which underlies the statistics which CG-CAHPS reports annually. Each individual form is scored as the percentage of questions for which the EC received the top mark; the two most recent forms for each patient are compared; the percentage of patients whose scores did not go down is reported.
