However, in that specific example, the primary procedure, arthroscopic ulnar nerve decompression, is also reported with the unlisted code 29999 . Although myofascial flaps are generally not performed with neuroplasty, it is not appropriate to report the same unlisted code twice for procedures performed during the same surgical encounter. Therefore, in this case CPT code 29999 would be reported once for both the arthroscopic neuroplasty...
