Contrast injection prior to a therapeutic injection
When contrast injection is performed prior to a therapeutic injection, such as a steroid and/or anesthesia injection into a disc, would the contrast injection be separately reported or is it considered inclusive to the primary procedure performed? If the contrast injection is separately reported, what CPT code would we use to report the service?
