Future changes to the UB-92 data set

The NUBC includes participation from all the major national provider and payer organizations. The NUBC plays an important consultative role with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 in helping to define the data content associated with each of the electronic transactions standards mentioned in the legislation.
