Recently, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) published clarification on the appropriate reporting of certain radiation oncology services when performed in conjunction with an intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) planning service. The clarification was published in response to several inquiries CMS received on the subject.
