A patient presented with a popliteal artery aneurysm in the right leg. Selective imaging of the right lower extremity identified the popliteal artery aneurysm and complete occlusion of the tibioperoneal trunk. A Viabahn stent was placed percutaneously across the aneurysm followed by balloon angioplasty.What is the correct CPT code for a stent graft to treat a popliteal aneurysm? As the stent is not treating the occlusive disease CPT code 37226 does not seem appropriate.
