Update to Emergency Use Authorizations for COVID-19 vaccines
Effective June 17, 2022, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration authorized amended versions of the emergency use authorizations (EUA) for the administration of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and the administration of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to prevent COVID-19 infection in children.The amended EUA for the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine now authorizes the use of the vaccine in children 6 months through 17 years of age.
