Updated Emergency Use Authorizations for COVID-19 vaccines
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has authorized amended versions of its emergency use authorizations (EUA) for the administration of COVID-19 vaccines for the prevention of COVID-19 infection.Effective October 19, 2022, the FDA revised the EUA for the adjuvanted Novavax COVID-19 vaccine. The EUA for Novavax previously included a two-dose primary vaccine series for persons aged 12 and older.
