Acetycholine Challenge Test
A patient with chest pain was referred for cardiac catheterization to rule out endothelial dysfunction. An acetylcholine (ACh) challenge test was performed. Acetylcholine was introduced into the left anterior descending artery (LAD) to rule out endothelial dysfunction. Images were taken of the diameter stenosis of the LAD. The stenosis was then reversed with intracoronary injections of nitroglycerin. What is the code assignment for this test?
