There are a number of congenital anomalies of the urogenital system which are not specifically classified in the ICD-9-CM. Effective October 1, 1996, new codes have been created to classify them. Undescended and Retractile Testicle Testes form intra-abdominally in the fetus and in the process of differential growth the testes normally descend to their position in the scrotum.
