Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy
A patient with right kidney stone is admitted to undergo an extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) on the right kidney stone. Shock waves were delivered 120 per minute ungated. The stone appeared to fragment well. After 2000 shocks, the patient was transported to the recovery room in stable condition. How should this procedure be coded in ICD-10-PCS?
