Infusion of Clofarabine
Effective October 1, 2009, a new code has been created for the intravenous infusion of clofarabine.
Clofarabine is a chemotherapeutic agent used for the treatment relapsed or refractory acute lymphoblastic leukemia in certain patients.
New subcategory 17.7 Other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
New code 17.70 Intravenous infusion of clofarabine
Excludes: injection or infusion of cancer chemotherapeutic substance (99.25)
