Ketogenic Diet

A ketogenic diet for the control of seizures is a treatment for epilepsy that has been in use for many years-alone, or sometimes in conjunction with anticonvulsive medications. It is considered a viable treatment for children with many types of seizures that are not well controlled with anticonvulsants or where anticonvulsants cause significant side effects.
