“Other Imaging” Type

In section B Imaging, a new third-character imaging type “Other Imaging” has been created to classify imaging modalities “not elsewhere classified”. This change allows the capture of new imaging procedures without creating additional third character imaging types; instead, qualifiers in the table are used to specify the new imaging modality.
