Placement of Carillon Mitral Contour System®
A patient with symptomatic mitral regurgitation underwent placement of the Carillon Mitral Contour System®. During surgery, a sheath was placed in the right internal jugular vein. The Carillon delivery catheter, along with a guide catheter, were advanced into the right atrium and the sheath/guide catheter was advanced into the coronary sinus. The Carillon device was advanced through the Carillon delivery catheter, the distal and proximal anchors were deployed and locked, then the Carillon device was released into the coronary sinus.
