Repair of Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm & Coronary Artery Bypass Graft
The patient was admitted to the hospital for surgical treatment of an ascending thoracic aortic and transverse arch aneurysm, and coronary artery disease. The patient underwent repair of the aneurysm with nonautologous graft with an elephant trunk extension into the descending thoracic aorta, and coronary artery bypass graft (x1) using a right greater saphenous vein graft to the posterior descending artery.
