Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) -93.90 CPAP is a respiratory modality used in spontaneously breathing patients that allows for artificial maintenance of positive airway pressure after passive exhalation is complete. CPAP may be applied to a tight fitting face mask, endotracheal tube, or tracheal tube.
