advances in technology, capture specific data
for tracking utilization, and provide diagnostic
granularity and specific information to allow
payers to adjudicate claims for such analyses, a
list of genetic testing modifiers has been added
as Appendix I of CPT 2005. This numeric-alpha
modifier coding system is arranged in a hierarchical
system with the first (numeric) character
