Computerized Dynamic Posturography (CDP)
The services included in the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) Special Otorhinolaryngologic Services subsection include diagnostic and treatment services that are not included in an evaluation and management service and, therefore, may be separately reported. In the CPT 2020 code set, code 92548 (CDP) was revised and code 92549 was added. This article provides the rationale behind these changes and clarifies the correct coding for these procedures.
