CLINICAL HISTORY
A 51-year-old female with new, spontaneous, bloody nipple discharge from a single duct in the left breast and recent normal
mammogram and ultrasound.
TECHNIQUE
After discussing the procedure with the patient, including the risks, benefits, alternatives, and potential complications,
written informed consent was obtained. A standard time-out was performed. A ductogram was performed for the discharging duct
in the left breast. The skin was prepped in the usual manner. A small amount of bloody fluid was manually elicited from a
