Question
We gave a patient two immunization injections in our office with the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine, and the varicella vaccine. Our third-party payor told us we could only report code, 90710, Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella vaccine, because all the vaccines were identified with the single code. Since we gave two injections, can we report 90707, Measles, mumps and rubella virus vaccine, live, and 90716, varicella (chicken pox) vaccine?
