Please advise on correct CPT codes to be assigned for this scenario: patient has left popliteal fossa cyst. The needle is advanced via ultrasound guidance into the cyst, and 10 cc of thick, yellow fluid is aspirated from cyst. Through same needle, 40 mg of methylprednisone is injected. Would the aspiration and injection of the cyst be reported with 20612, 27345 or unlisted code 27599?
