What is the appropriate code to report a laparoscopic urethropexy that is performed to treat urinary incontinence? Laparoscopy is performed; nonabsorbable sutures are placed into the endopelvic fascia at the bladder neck region on each side and secured to the ipsilateral Coopers ligament. The sutures are tied using extravaginal-urethral knots to create a hammock-type suspension of the bladder neck, without urethral occlusion.
