The February 2019 issue of the CPT Assistant (p 11) states that CPT code 43763 is reported when a gastrostomy tube is replaced without imaging guidance and correct placement is confirmed with contrast injection through the tube followed by a kidney, ureter, and bladder (KUB) plain film of the abdomen. Does this mean the KUB is bundled?
