We are finding an increasing number of patients whose caregiver(s) are family members or friends that may not have formal certification as a care assistant, and need additional guidance in how to help their loved ones who are living with various functional deficits. Does CPT have a way that we can report the time that we need to spend to educate these family members and friends?
