A patient receives a concurrent infusion (96368) on day one of the patient's observation stay and then receives a subsequent infusion of the same drug on the following day (day 2). Is it appropriate to report code 96366 for additional administrations of the intravenous infusion on other days of the patient's stay? Or does the procedure described by code 96368 apply to all infusions of that drug during the duration of the patient's stay?
