If a patient is scheduled for non-emergent surgery and is seen the same day for the clearance for surgery and an H&P is performed as part of the clearance for surgery by a different specialty than the surgeon, which code(s) should be reported? Would the code(s) be dependent upon the timing of the analysis relative to the timing of the chest CT?
