A physician performed a hemorrhoidopexy by stapling technique, as described by code 46947, Hemorrhoidopexy (eg, for prolapsing internal hemorrhoids) by stapling, and also used a circular anoscope during this procedure. Would it be appropriate to separately report for the use of the circular anoscope?
