Can the physician time involved in a virtual (eg, telephone or video) peer-to-peer interactive discussion with the physician medical director of an insurance company to defend a preauthorization request, be counted when it is used to select a patients management option (ie coordination of care) even if it is outside the 1-2 day window from the date of the encounter?
