A surgeon performs an initial procedure to treat a nasal obstruction and an external deformity resulting from a previous nasal fracture that occurred years ago, which has since knitted and healed. The surgeon opens the nose, re-fractures the nasal bones with osteotomies, and then resets the bones. Other work is also performed to strengthen the nasal tip and restore nasal symmetry. Would this be reported as an open treatment of a nasal fracture (21325 or 21330) or a rhinoplasty (30410)?
