If a surgeon performs a unilateral endoscopic anterior-posterior ethmoidectomy and a sphenoidotomy with tissue removal in addition to frontal sinus exploration with tissue removal, is it appropriate to report codes 31259 and 31253? Would this imply double reporting of the endoscopic anterior-posterior ethmoidectomy in the presented scenario? Or should code 31276 be reported instead?
