Recently while doing a provider training event at a large health system, a provider asked, "What advice do you have for us regarding the 2021 E&M AMA CPT Changes to the office E&M codes?" My response was short, simple, and merely one sentence. "Just keep documenting the way you have been documenting these services for the past 25 years."
