MedRhythms Secures New Reimbursement Code for InTandem Stroke Rehabilitation System
MedRhythms has announced that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has granted a new reimbursement code for its innovative stroke rehabilitation system, InTandem. InTandem is specifically designed to enhance walking ability in individuals with chronic stroke. The newly assigned Health Care Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) code, E3200, qualifies InTandem under Medicare's durable medical equipment benefit category. This new code will take effect on October 1, 2024, making it easier for patients to access MedRhythms' rhythmic auditory stimulation (RAS) therapy, which has been clinically proven to improve gait and mobility in home settings.
