2015 Salary survey: Anesthesia coders — Base pay on time in the medical field, managerial duties
Sticking with the same employer is the sign of a loyal employee, but salaries based on the time with one employer are lower than those based on the same amount of time working more than one place in the health care field. And if you’re performing management duties but your annual salary is less than $66,173, you’re being underpaid. Those are two salary realities reported by anesthesia coders, practice managers and compliance auditors in the Anesthesia & Pain Coder’s Pink Sheet’s annual coders’ salary survey.
