ICD-10-CM Tip of the week: Code diabetes with all complications

Question: When we are coding for diabetes mellitus and the patient has more than one complication, do we code them all? If so, which code takes precedence? For example, we have a patient with type 2 diabetes who has both neuropathic arthropathy (E11.610) and foot ulcer (E11.621).
