The National Uniform Claims Committee (NUCC) has released the new CMS 1500 that allows reporting of both ICD-9 and ICD-10 diagnosis codes on your claims. In other changes, the form will no longer ask for a patient’s Social Security number; that’s been replaced with “ID#.”
