New coding guidance: CCI builds up block edits, tweaks anesthesia and trigger point edits

Make sure your billing software is updated to include the 36,707 new edit pairs that bundle the add-on codes for three pain injections into a variety of procedures. Even though general guidelines state add-on code edits shouldn’t be necessary, CMS is clamping down to prevent improper coding.
