New guidelines for obesity codes added with April 1 ICD-10-CM update

Providers won’t have any new ICD-10-CM codes to worry about starting April 1 this year, however there are some noteworthy changes coming to the official ICD-10-CM coding guidelines and a few revisions to the tabular coding instructions to become familiar with. All changes will take effect April 1.
