New meaningful use EPs who missed CEHRT hardship exception get another chance

Providers who are having problems attesting to electronic health records (EHR) meaningful use because of certified EHR technology problems, but who failed to file for a hardship exception when it was due in July, have gotten a break: CMS has extended its application deadline to Nov. 30.
