Florida Subscriber Answer: Currently, you should report a porokaratotic lesion using ICD-9 code 701.1 (Keratoderma acquired). The areas of hyperkeratosis can occur at different sites and with specific characteristics that clinicians may identify as different conditions, such as disseminated superficial actinic porokeratosis (DSAP), or porokeratosis palmaris et plantaris disseminata (PPPD).
