Answer: The appropriate code to describe cholecystectomy with cholangiography (radiologic examination of the bile ducts) is 47563 (Laparoscopy, surgical; cholecystectomy with cholangiography) for laparoscopic approach or 47605 (Cholecystectomy; with cholangiography) for an open procedure.
